Also known as the Defensive Rifle, the Defensive Carbine includes the AR and AK platforms. This long gun class is designed to get you comfortable and confident with your defensive long gun.
8 hour range time includes:
- Carry and deployment
- Carbine retention
- Use of cover/concealment
- All methods of reloads
- Positional shooting
- Malfunction correction
- Transition to handgun
- Multiple targets
- Fighting to/from cover
- Contact distance carbine
Students should bring safety glasses, hearing protection and at least 400 rounds of ammunition for their specific firearm. Sling for your long gun and a holster for your handgun.
